Eaton’s LE-Z Series of earthing locknuts are a used to provide an alternative to the earth tag when terminating a metallic cable gland into a thin wall enclosure.
The earthing locknut comprises of cutting teeth on one surface that cut into the enclosure wall when tightened, preventing the nut from turning. This enables all gland connections to be made within the enclosure and away from possible atmospheric and mechanical damage.
They are available in brass and stainless steel.
