Wellhead Electrical Supplies Ltd (WES), an Aberdeen-based international electrical and hazardous area equipment provider, has exceeded its sales target. WES, which has been in business for over 30 years, had its best performing month this November. Sales Manager, Dan Eager, noted: “We saw a 46% increase on our previous best month of the year for November 2021, making it our best performing month of 2021 by some margin. The WES team has pulled together during a hectic time to achieve this goal. Every one of the team worked hard for this.”
As well as reaching its sales target, WES has continued to grow through hiring and promoting staff. As a result, the Aberdeen firm recently filled two key positions in sales and operations that will start in the new year. First, David Urquhart will join in the role of Inside Sales Representative, responsible for client relationships and lead generation. Then, Lauren Forsyth will join as an Account Manager, responsible for managing day-to-day enquiries and existing client accounts.
Greg Rastall, Director at WES, said: “We are looking to continue to grow our exports to South East Asia & China by engaging with British manufacturers to enhance our offering.”
