Can you describe your role as an account manager at Wellhead Electrical Supplies?
“My primary responsibility is to maintain strong relationships with our clients by understanding their needs and providing any products they need. I manage the entire sales process for my assigned accounts, from initial contact to order fulfilment and post-sales support. This includes providing quotes, negotiating pricing, processing orders, and coordinating deliveries.”
How has your experience been since joining the team in 2023?
“The warm welcome and ongoing support from everyone has made the transition into my new role seamless. The wealth of experience each of my new colleague has been fantastic, ensuring that solutions to any queries are readily available.”
Coming into the oil and gas industry, what were your initial impressions, and have they changed over time?
“I think there is a lot more to it than I first assumed, and the processes are slightly different than expected. It’s a very fast paced environment which I find exciting.”
What challenges have you faced transitioning into the oil and gas sector, and how have you overcome them?
“The electrical field in this sector is very broad, offering more challenges than I initially expected with lots of different parts, part numbers, manufacturers, and certifications. However, Greg’s (WES Co-Founder) ongoing support has been a huge help. He’s always willing to take the time to sit down with me and explain any areas I find challenging or don’t fully understand.”
How does Wellhead Electrical Supplies’ offering stand out in the highly competitive oil and gas market?
“One of the best things about Wellheads is not only its experienced staff but also its commitment to providing genuine assistance to clients. We always try to offer viable alternatives when we can’t source requested products or if they are discontinued. We proactive in providing solutions to any challenges our client’s encounter.”
How do you approach building and maintaining strong relationships with your clients?
“Quick responses, regular updates on lead times and changes to orders. Offering solutions and alternatives to challenges.”
How do you plan to grow within your role and contribute to the company’s success in the coming years?
“I’m looking to grow my knowledge across the sector and in the different electrical products and brands we have partnerships with. I’m also hoping to start attending events and begin networking with existing and new potential clients.”

“Be ready to hit the ground running!”
Can you share a bit about what drives you professionally and how you stay motivated in your role?
“I’ve always been motivated to do well with things. I prefer to put my all into everything that I do, which helps me stay motivated.”
Outside of work, what are some of your interests or hobbies that help you unwind?
“I have a keen interest in the gym, that is my main interest and where I spend most of my evenings. I play golf but only when the weather is nice and try to go to Portugal every year to play with my friends.”
